The Ludic City

The Ludic City is a comic that explores the concept behind the ludic city, where playfulness is a main role in this city. Play serves many valuable purposes. It is a means by which children develop their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and moral capacities. It also provides a state of mind that is uniquely suited for reasoning, insightful problem solving, and all sorts of creative endeavors. However, we forget our playfulness quickly in our time-driven life. But when we open up to be playfull in a city, it will create new experiences, insights and maybe even new friends by interacting with strangers. This visual essay explores the question: “In What ways does the explored instance (the giant boombox) differ in playfulness compared to the everyday in the use of public spaces throughout the city?
