Greetings from...
Greetings from... is a collection of cards from and for strangers. In collaboration with Geke Schalkwijk we asked ourselves:
“How can we ‘unstrange’ stangers?” and “Who are strangers to us?”.
We noticed that we’re getting more disconnected from the people we already know, becoming strangers, especially because the rise of technology. Therefore we designed simple postcards to give away to strangers and give them the opportunity to send a free (analogue) postcard to someone and (re)connect with them. In return we asked them to photograph their written story, which sometimes lead to a nice and unexpected conversation. Everyone says a beautiful story to tell and we were there to listen.
